MONEY MARKET. The Bank of England discount, rato, which-had stood at 5 per cent, since April 6. 1917, on which date it was reduced from 5J per cent., was raised to 6 per cent, on November 6, 1919, and to 7 per cent, on April 15, 1970. Ol'iJN MARKET BATES. The open market rate for three months' billß is 6} per cent., as compared with 61 per cent, last week and 3i per ccnt. last year. Short loans arc quoted at 6} per cent, azainst 51 ner cent, last week, and 31 per cent, last year.
