SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. No senior matches were played on Satday on account of the representative match at Napier. A junior scven-a-sido tournament was held at Newtown Park, and otter an interesting contest I'etone were successful, defeating in the final by-11 points to 8. The" winning ream was Bell, Walters, Haysman, Stubbersflcld, M'Kay, Wilson, and Delargey. HAWKE'B BAY DEFEAT WELLINGTON SENIOR TEAM.

Two intorprovincial football matches under Northern Union rules worn played on M'Lean l'ark on Saturday, between junior and senior teams representing Wellington and Hatfke's Bay. The galncs wore witnosscd by a large attendance of spcctntorn. A bold und fairly strong wTlld blew during the greater part of the afternoon. Both games were well contested, and iliu senior atrugglc was at times very exciting. The junior match was won by Wcllni?ton by 11 points to. 8, and the senior match by Hawkes Bay hy 26 points to 18.
