Sir Thomas Mackenzie lias .returned after visiting the graves at Vidworth, Coilford, Netley, Brockenhurst, Brook wood, and Walton. 110 states that generally tliey all are well kept now, in readiness to be taken over by the Commission, which will probably delegate tho task of caring for the graves to local associations of ladies, of which 6omo havo been formed already, notably at Brockenhurst and Walton, where the flowers are tended daily. A memorial stone erected at Tidworth lecords the names of thoso buri«l there. Tho cenictery is laid out in terraces, and the graves covered with broken marble.— Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
