STRIKERS TO BE REINSTATED
4 DECISION OF, NEW SOUTH WALES GOVERNMENT. Sydney, Mar 28. Mr. Wcarne, Leader of the Progressives, has threatened not to support the Government if the latter reinstates the Government strikers of 1917. The Labour Secretary (Mr. Carey) says tho challenge will lie accepted. The Government will restore the rights of the victimised unionists, irrespective of the consequences.—Press Assn. JThe Railway and Tramway Association recently requested that' tho men dismissed from the railways and tramways through their particination in tho 1917 strike should be re-employed without loss of seniority, and that those who had been reduced in grade or pay should ibe restored to their previous grade. Mr. Estell (Minister of Works and_ Railways] referred the matter to' Cabinet, which announced that the request would be granted.l
