His Majesty the King has consented to become patron of the Imperial "War Famine Fund Committee. The committee includes the Premier, Lord Birkenhead, the leaders of political parties and churches. The British lied Cross Fund intends to co-ordinate and con-centrate-on a British effort for tho relief of one of the inost terrible tragedies in history.
