H.M.S, New. Zealand Wedding, The marriage took place'on March. 23, in St. Michael's Church, Chester Square, London, of Lieutenant M. M'Master, of H.M.S. New Zealand, to Miss Joan Greeba Quane, of.Christchurch. The Iridegroom, was on the New Zealand on her last trip to the Dominion, with Admiral of the Fleet Lord Jellicoe, and the latter travelled specially front Ihe Isle of Wight to give the 'bride away. A large number of people were present at the ceremony, the majority being naval officers in uniform. Headed by the Prrcentor, tho choristers went in procession to tho west door to meet the bride, on whose arrival they Btnrted the hymn "The Voieo that Breathed o'er Eden," and. sang it' as they Jed the procession up the nave. Being Lent, there.were i.o floral tio'ns, but the service was choral. Thebride, who-arrived in London only_ a' month beforehand by the. Ormonde, wijh her mother, Mrs. Quane, wore a frock of ivory georgette, the skirt being finely nccordeon-pleatcd and falling over un underskirt •of silver, lace. The low-cut bodice was.'.softly draped and trimmed with silver, and the long transparent sleevce were of the finest silk net. Tho veil, which belonged to an aunt of the bride, was of lightly embroidered tulle,; and was arranged with a oororiej of orange blossoms and. silvered foliage. Tho bouquet was of white .carnations, lilies of the valley, arid palest pink-tinted-tulips, fastened with btreamevs of nar- ■ row white.' ribbon. Miss B. M'Ma6ter (sister. of the bridegroom) and Miss M. O'Condr were bridesmaids, and wore frockT of powder blue georgette embroidered with pale nink roses. The bodices were draped with' fichus of pair- pink ninon, edged with laco and finished with; sashes of powder blue velvet, reversed with pale pink. Their nink hats were trimmed with powder blue, and (ho sheaves of nink fculins they carried were tied with H.M.S. New Zealand ribbons. Lieutenant-Commander A. D. Boy e (of Christchurch) was best man. and the groomsmen were Lieutenant Oswald \\. Cornwallis, 0.8 E„ Sub-Lieutenant Alexander K, Cadell, and Mids'npman Willi™ G. Eykvn, all of whom were on Hjl s New Zealand on lier recent tour.
