RUGBY CONTROL

The Management Committee of. the Wellington Eugby Union met last evening, the chairman (Mr. W. Hornig) prePermission was granted the Lower Hutt Club to charge for admittance at its grounds on six Saturdays, the wron to deduct JGIO 10s. from the takings. Two senior matches will be p'ayod at Lower Hutt this-season. After some discussion it was decided that clubs requiring training grounds be granted tho use of Athletic Park at nights, the arrangements and use of the ground to be at the discretion of tho caretaker. A charge of 2s. M. per night will be levied, this to inolude tho use of the dressing-shed and lowers. Intimation was received from tho Canterbury Union that its representative team would meet tho local npiosentatives at Wellington on June 3. Tho secretary to the King Country Union wrote asking fo;- a match against the Wellington representatives at 'laumarumii in the event of tho *eam t>nto Auckland this season. The letter was held over for consideration when the representative fixtures weie being rtrawn up. . ,„.,.. Messrs. Cook, Perry and Pin were anpointed a classification committee to view some <f tho various junior grade games with a view to submitting a report to the union. The object is to whether any of the teams should be advanced a grade.
