LARGE HOLE IN THE HULL,

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, May 25. The steamer Aorere, stranded on the Rangitikei beach, has a largo hole in her hull, and has been abandoned. The vessel has a-cargo of chaff and barley from Blenheim. The insurances aro unknown. It is doubtful if there'is anyone on the vessel.
