THOMAS MOORE ANNIVERSARY

The engagement of Mr. Walter White, the Anstrnhnn tenor, and Miss Pollard, tho Victorian soprano, should make the programme which is to he presented on Friday evening at the Town Hall by the Thomas Mooro Musical Festival Committee a most attractive one. Mr. White will sing a solo, and with Miss Pollard will sing a duet. They will be supported by the best of local talent in solns and concerted items. An additional attraction will bo tho appearance of the winners of tho competition items, who will repeat tho test pieces of the competition, and the combined competing choirs' rendition of one of Ireland's most popular songs, The competitions tako place in tho day at the Concert Chamber, and there are a numlwr of entries.
