ACUTE SITUATION IN EAST PRUSSIA
JUNKERS' SEPARATIST PLANS. (Rec. May 2, 1.20 a.m.) Berlin, May 24. Anlicute military situation has arisen in East Prussia. The Junkers, who cherish separatist plans, are armed to the teeth and are believed to have tampered with the Government troops concentrated there.—United Service. . PUNISHMENT OF KAPPIST OFFICERS Berlin, May 23. Tho Ministry, of Defence Committee has disposed of eighty-eight cases in which officers,were accused in connection with tho Kapp rebellion. Fifteen, including Vice-Admiral von Trotha, exchief of tho German Admiralty, and Rear-Admiral von Levetzow, were dismissed the service, and twenty-five others were relieved of their duties.—Aus.-N.Z.
