CELEBRATIONS IN ENGLAND. London, May 22. A feature of tho Etiglish soliool celebrations of Empiro Day will bo tho unveiling at Mitcham of an Australian flag from the Australian town of Mitcham, in the presence of soldiers and visitors from Australia—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. SPECIAL SERVICES IN SYDNEY. Sydney, May 24. Many churches held Empire Day services yesterday, and appeals were made for, unity and concord. Mr. William Hughes, in a message to the Empire League, eays the war lias strengthened the bonds of'kinship in the Empire, in spite of insidious counsels of disruption, which failed to separate it in war time, 'and would also tail during peace.—Press Assn.
