The first of tho inter-club matches of tho Miramar Golf Club took place on ■ Saturday nod resulted in a win for tho Hutt Club. The details are as follow, Miramar names bein? placed first:— ; A Team, at the Hutt—Taylor lost to Climio, Hurst lost to Colonel 1 Chosnoy; Liddle won from Kirk, Clouston lost to. ■ Treadwill, 0. J. Wilson won from Wagg, ■Page lost to Winter, Doughty halved i with Biss, Leeso won from Dawson, Kissr ling lost to Godfrey; Fraser won from ! Manning; Grace won from Holmwood, Wyflyard lost to .Tudd, Hay-Mackenzie lost to Heketa. Through a mistake of tho Miramar secrotary, thirteen players i were sont out, but the Hutt Club was equal to the emergency and supplied a thirteenth man. : 1 13 Team, at Miramar.—Crombie halved with Wagg, Webb lost to Fair, Erskino lost to Caminer, Hayman halved' with Mason, Grange lost to Eggleston, Richardson won from Williams. Palmer won from Biss, Young lost to Townsend, Robieson won from Dawson, C. G. Turner lost to Chamberlain, Magnus won from Raiuey, Colonel Hughes won from Isaacs.
