Inquiries made at the hospital tins afternoon, ehovr that Mr. ludrnan, of tha Sero Hotel, Wellington, who was injured in the motor smash at Sandon on Wednesday night, is still m a sen ous condition. Mr. J. , Railway Bullet, Palinerston North, who waj also in tho accident, is elightly imnrcvcd, but has lost the* sight of oni eye The others who. were injured aio progressing satisfactorily. Th» inquest on the victims will be resumed at Sandon on 1' rulay.
