Parr h> day for the purpose of enlisting hifi sympathy in the matter of securing an increase in superannuation. It was stated that many old public servants now found themselves unable to maintain themselves on the sum which had been sufficient when they retired, and they had decided' to ask flie Government to supplement tho amomit received by way of a boivus.
