IRISH POLICY
MANY RESTRICTIONS TO BE REMOVED TERRORISM TO BE FOUGHT RELENTLESSLY By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright London, May 19. Cabinet, after further consulation with Sir Hamar Greenwood, Viscount French, and Sir Nevill Macready, has finally adopted a dual Irish policy. It has decided to use every weapon of tho State's armoury in fighting terrorism, while, on the other hand, it will remove many restrictipas imposed on the general community, and adopt a more liberal attitude towards sedition not accompanied by violence. It. will abandon indefinite imprisonments'without trial. It is cstinjated that the active terrorists do not exceed 2000, though sympathisers doubtless number thousands.. It is intended to establish military flying columns, maintaining a continuous nnd relentless pursuit of criminals. Independent evidence will be secured, and proved murderers will be executed—"The Tim's." TWO POLICEMEN"MURDERED (Rec. May 21, 0.20 a.m.) London, May 19.
