The deaths totalled 137,037, o which 4037 were due to influenza, Tin infant mortality was 8?. per thousand which is 32 per thousand below the aver ago of tho ton preceding first quarters Births numbering 250,700 and 137,02: deaths were registered during the thre< months ended December 31 in tho Unite< Kingdom.
