ADDINGTONJ3TOCK MARKET By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, May 19. At the Addington market to-day there wero smaller yardinga of fat stock than last week. Prime mutton showed the healthy tone that has marked recent sales, and there was little alteration in recent values for prime beef, but inferior beef was a drug, and lowor prices had to bo accepted for light mutton. Store sheep—There was'a igood entry, mostly ewes and wethers, with a good proportion of Chatham and Southland eheop. At tho commencement of the sale backward wethers were in weak demand, but all other classes were, much the same as at tho preceding sales, with forward lambs firmer. Forward lambs, 2us. to 235. lid., ordinary lambs, 15s". 6d. to 19s. Sd.: cull lanibsi 12s. Gd. to lis. 3d.: ewe lambs, 235. to 355.; two, four, six, and eight-tooth ewes, 255. Gd. to 30s.;' inferior, 2, 4, and G-tooth ewes, 255. 6d. to 285.; inferior 2, 4, 6, and 8tooth ewes. 19s. to 255.; two-tooth ewes, 255. Id. to 275. 2d.; good 4, G, and 8tooth wethers, 295. to 335. Gd.; ordinary 4. fi, and 8-tooth wethers, 2Gs. to 285.; Rood two-tooth wethers,' to 30s. 6d,, other two-tooth wethers. 255. to 28s. . Fat lambs—A slightly smaller yarding than at recent sales. Freezing buyers were operating freely.
