Y.M.C.A. CAMPAIGN
_ 4 Tho Y.M.C.A. appeal for funds to purchase and equip Donbank as a hostel for boys and youths was vigorously prosecuted yesterday. A largo number of business houses ifmve been approached, and tho appeal is being favourably received. In most cases tho matter of a subscription has to bo considered by boards of directors, and, a few days must therefore elapse betoro a number of larger amounts can bo recorded. The position of tho teams up to last night was as follows:— No. 1, i'SfiOj No. 2, £W; No. 4, .£124; No. 6, .£729; No. 7, £172; No. S, ,£3G7. Total, JC2719.
