Br Teleeranh—Precs Ansoolation. Dunedln, May 19. Anthony Patterson, unmarried, aged 25 years, a farm labourer, was found dead in his bedroom nt tho Occidonlal Hotel this morning. There was a wound in the centra of tho forehead, and a .22 Stevens rifle with a discharged cartridge in the chamber was lying on the iioor. The body was partly on the bed, and its position seeniod to indicate that the deceased shot himself while sitting on tho bed. On the dressing-table was a box of .22.cartridges. Ho was last seen alivo yesterday about 1.45 p.m., when Lo went to his room, Deceased is reported to have left a letter in his room, stating that he intended to commit suioide, and 6aying good-byo to a girl,
