Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd.. report that on ■ Saturday they held a clearing sale on account of Mr. H. A. Bunny (who has sold iiis Ekctahuna perty). Taken throughout, the sale was very successful; Bheep sold well, hut, with the exception of dairy heifers, cattle, in common with moEt recent sales, fetched low prices. Quotations:—2-tooth to 4-year ewes, 325. 6d.; 2, 4, and 6-tooth ewes, 325.; 5-yea.r ewes, 245. 3d.; cull 2-tooth ew.n, 245. 3d. j ewe lambs, 205.; wether lambs, 19s. 2d.; b.f. 2-tooths, 265. 9d.; b.f. lambs, 18s. 4d. Cattle; 2),-year steers, £6 15a.: mixed age steers, £5 135.; lj-ycar steers, £2 to £4; heifers (due factory dateß), £14 12s. 6d.; dairy cows, in calf, '£12 10s. to £17 155.; bull. £10; horses, £15 to £21 10s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Limited, report that on Monday they conducted a highly-successful clearing sale on account of Mr. S. Sorensen, Tokomaru. The stock came forward in good condition, and was submitted to a good attendance of buyers. The following price? were realised;— Mixed 2-tooths, 275.; bent dairy cows, £18. 10s., £20, £21, £21 ss. to £24; other*, £12 10s., £14 10s. to £17 10a.; forward cows, £6. £8 7s. 6d. to £8 10s.; horses; draught. £22 to £31; farm' implements and jundricß also sold exceptionally well. Messrs. Abraham,and Williainß. Limited, report on their monthly Foxton sale, held May 10:—A pood yarding of cattle- and sheep came forward. Dairy heifers sold exceptionally well, but there was a poor demand for other classes of stock. We quote:—Sheep: Woolly lambs, to 21s. 4d.; shorn lambs, 12s. 3d. to Ms. 7d.; small lambs, 9s. to 12s. 3d.; f.r.f. ewes, 21b. to 285.; empty, heifers, £4 Ss.; heifers, r.w.b., £8. ( Messrs.
