The Hon. G. J. Anderson, .the new Minister of •Internal Affairs,- was sworn in yesterday' as a member of the Executive Council. He 'left Wellinetou last ni"ht for the South Island, his intention being to take part in tho welcome to. the Prince of. Wales in'Ms own district of Southland. He-will return to Wellington at the end,of the'week, to tdko up his Ministerial duties. • :
