Vile), in his annual report, stated that the executive ■had been instrumental in getting purebred stock carried on trains during the railway cut, as well as in getting 2Jd. per lb—the difference between the price ruling locally for butter and the price at which it was commaudeersd—out of tlie Consolidated Fund.
