They p'ossefis some very fast backs, and are expected to put up a. great fight .against Poneke. The Poncke men are a great combination, and whoever defeats this team must go near to winning" the championship. At i'etone, Berhampore are to meet Petone. An early game will .bP played at Athlotio Park and another at Petone. Theiollowing fixtures will sot be played owing to defaults:—Third Grade A: 'Varsity v. Poneke. Fourth Grade: 'Varsity .v.'Marist; y.M.C,A." v. AVellington B. Fifth Class: Porirua y. Oriental. AMENDED REFEREES. The following are amended appoint; ments of referees for to-day's fixtures:— Senior—Selwyn' v. Oriental, on Kilbirnio No. 2, at 3 p.m., Mr. L. Simpson. Junior—'Varsity v.' Ponelce, on Kelbuwi Park, at 3 p.m., Mr. J. Freeman. Sixth Class—'Wellington College A v. Wellington C, on College No. 2, at 3 p.m., Mr. frank Bradley.
