, The concert given at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday evening by Mr. and Mrs. H. Tombs w full ot attractive items that were encored freely. The performers wereMesdames Stephens; Cook, and Tombs Miss Benboiv, and Messrs. H. Tombs. Robert Bull, and Warner.. ; Jlesdames Cook and Stephens were at the piano. The competitions were under the guidance of Mr. Moore (missioner). 'The prizes came, ' from Featherston, and : went to the OUiki .and Canadian Importer.:
