The Moscow correspondent of the' "Daily Express" states: "A serious fire and many explosions in the' outskirts of Moscow' on .Monday explain the wireless silence. The explosions shattered the glass in the centre of Moscow. , These, occurring simultaneously, are attributed to a. Polish plot. The troops and students are endeavouring, to restrict the urea <)f the lire. Many ammunition dumps have lieen blown up, but thero have been few casualties. The Soviet alleges that Berkenheim, one of Ihe London directors, instructed tlio co-operative unions, in view of the expected fall of Petrograd last autumn, to export goods as soon'as Yudenitch 'entered the city.
