1 - A meeting of the Makara County | Council was hold yesterday, ivlien there j were present Councillors b. Bryant : (chairman); E. Windley, D. Prosser, L. ' I>. Nairn, W. E. Cook, and ft, Bowler. Councillor Windley moved,'and Coun-' ■ cillor Bryant seconded, that the wages of roadmen be increased to 143, per day. After discussion, an nmondment, moved . by Councillor Bowler tind seconded by ; Councillor Prosser, that wages remain * as n't present, was carried. : It was decided to apply to the City Council for the usual contribution of ! metal for the Ngahauranga Gorge' Road. ■ mi"' mi MI
