THE NEW SOUTH "WALES TOUR. A meeting of the Management Commit tee of the New Zealand Rugby Unioi was held last night, Mr. G. N. Slad presiding. There wore also' present Messrs. A. C. Kitto. T. H. Jones, J. M Piki. and R. T. Bailey. . The New South Wales Rugby Unioi wrote, stating that the dates suggests for tho tour of tho New Zealand tear, were July H 31, and August 2 in Syd ner. with a country fixture in the nre week. The letter regretted that th New Zealand committee- had found 1 imnossiblo to send a team in Juno, bu no inconvenience had resulted from tin postponement. Tho suggested dates wen confirmed. , , , , ~ Tho following selectors to select tin team to go to Australia were appointed Messrs. G. Nicholson (AucWan'l), B. J Malone (Taranaki), A. J. Griffiths (Wei Ungton), S. P. Wilson (Canterbury), ant H. V. Harris (Otago). The centre secretary in Sydney wrot< concerning tho amended rules. It was decided to hold the North v South match on June 2G and that tin selectors for that match be the same ai for tho New Zealand team to go to Aus tralia. It was also resolved that th selection of twenty players for the Nev Zealand team should be made after tin North-South match. The place at whic tho match is to be held was left for tin annual meeting to decide. A letter was received stating that at ( meeting of clubs in the Main Trunk dis trict it had been decided to ask that : separate union should be formed foi that district. It was decided to placi the matter before the annual meeting The Whangarei Rugby Union als< wrote, asking that, a North Aucklam Rugby Football Union, comprising Baj of Wands. Wniroa. Graham, it w;as de. cided to write the Otago union for an Zealand Rugby Referees' As Moiation wrote, asking that m futun the methods of appointment of referee, to representative matches bo left in the hands of the home Rugby union. _ It was pointed out that this was a mnttei for the various unions.
