The "Matin" states that the Government's action against the Confederation' of Labour is framed not so as to dissolve trade unions, hut to break the bond of the Federation so that, while leaving each section free to seek its own economic protection, tho unions will be prevented from infringing on tho domain of politics. London, May 12. Thore is no confirmation of a report that tho French Government is discontinuing the action against the General .Confederation of Labour.
