4 The official weather forecast issued last evening stated that indications wero for cold and squally, weather, with heavy showers, especially in the northern and Bast Coast districts. Snow is expected on the higher levels. The barometer is unsteady, with a tendency to rise in tho north, but to fall shortly in ihe south.
