• o MEETING ADDRESSED BY MINISTERS RESOLUTION IN FAVOUR OF COALITION • (By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright (Rec. May 12, 8.40 p.m.) London, May- 11. Coalition Liberal Ministers aadressd a crowded meeting at the Central Hall, Westminster. The chairman, read a lotttr from Mr. _ Lloyd George stating that tin proceedings at Leamington had thoroughly exposed the unfitness of the National Liberal Federation as at present managed to represent Liberalism. Tlio Liberal Coalitionists had never betrayed Liberal principles. . Becent byelections clearly Bhowed that tho machine no longer represented tho Liberal rank and file. ">No doubt the division in Liberalism is serious, and. any premature attempt to force an issue between tho two sections will leave the .party rent, bleeding and helpless for a generation. Unfortunately, bad temper has seized the reins. The present disa source of grief to mo. I have done more to avert it than is yet known."
