The director, of tho horticulture divisiin of flic Department of Agriculture has received from the apiary instructors the following reports concerning th* honey crop prospects :-- Auckland.—The weather in April has been somewhat cold, indicating an eat-ly winter. Cbr'stchurch and Dunedin.—Tliere is little fresh to report. Extracting id finished and consignments for export are now coming forward. The returns varied considerably throughout the distr;..-'*- Prices are firm. Bulk honey is quoted at Bd. to lOd. Sections to 12<. 6-J. , per dozen. Beeswax is in strong demand and sales ore being effected at 2s. 6d. per lb.
