IMFEOVED AEROPLANE WINGS. London, Mav 8. The "Observer" states that the Sand-lcy-Page improved design for aeroplane wings lias passed tho official tests. It will permit loads to be increased by from 20 to 40 per cent., and will enable aeroplanes to ascend and alight within smaller grounds. Tho improvement can be fitted to any existing wing. It is regarded as a great forward stop m aviation, giving designers a bigger margin by which tho strength, safety, and comfort of aeroplanes may be increased. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. .
