MONEY MARKET. The Dank of England discount rate, which had stood at 6 per cent. since April 5. 1917, on which dr,to it was reduced from 51 per cent., was raised to 6 per cent, on November li. 1919, and to 7 per cent, on April 15. 1920. OPEN-MAKKET HATES. Thc.open market rate for three mouths' bills ia 63 per cent., as compared with Gfi per cent, last week and 3i per cent, last year. Short loanß are quoted at 5J per ct.nt. against 53 per cent, last week, . and 3J per cent, last year.
