RABBIT SKIN SALES
LOWER PRICES OBTAINED. By Teleeranh—Press Association. Dunedin, May 8. At the rabbitskin sales in Dunedin today prices showed a considerable decline in sympathy with the London and American markets. The bulk of offerings comprised summer 6kinß, which show a drop of from 70 per cent, to 75 per cent., as compared with the extreme prices realised on March 22, the date of the last sale. At the eamn time, compared with values current at this time last year, the prices paid yesterday showed a considerable improvement. Following is the range of prices obtained yestcday:—Runners and .suckers, Ild. to 15d. per lb.; light racks, 19d. to 21 a d. per lb.; summer':, 21d.t0. 22d. r-er lb.; prime racks, 2nd. to 27d. per lb.; early autumns, Mil. to 31l?d. perlb.; late autumns, 4Hd. to 423 d.; incoming winter.?, 7d. to 8!d.; winters, 50d. to fiOd.; summer blacks, 2Gd. to 2G?d.j autumn- blacks, 40d. to Uii.; summer fawns, 26(1. to 27* d.; milky, 15d. to 15j)d.: broken,. 15d. to 17(1.; springs, 2-id. to 26(1.; horsehair, 28d. to 13d.; hareskins. lGd. to 18d.; catskins, Gd. to 12d. each.
