In IKb House of Assembly tlie Govern, ment's Auti-Profileering Bill was read a second time by -G2 votes to '10. Both Nationalists and Labourites had moved amendments. The Labourites extricated themsalve's from tho position of voting witli the Nationalists, thereby endanger•ing the Government by seeking to withdraw their amendment. The Nationalist*, objected to a withdrawal, whereupon the Labourites left the Chamber. The minority consisted solely of Nationalists.— Renter.
