CANCELLATION OF FIXED PRICES.

Ths wholesale maximum price for imported mutton remains unaltered at ni.'epence a pound, but cancellation of tho fixed rotail prices will mean the virtual decontrol of both the wholesale and the retail trade if Government intends to cut its losses, and release iargl) quantities from storage, so as to abolish tho glut.—Aus.-N.Z.
