BEFORE THE MILLENNIUM— WHAT? as Popularly taugnt and understood, is UNSCKTPTT'RAL, UNREASONABLE, and IMPOSSIBLE. MANY THOUSANDS WILL BE CHEATED, OUT OF SALVATION BY THE FALSE TEACHING CONCERN, INCf THE COMING OF JESUS CHRIST. IS NOT THAT JUST AS THE ADVERSARY WOULD HAVE IT? I.Peter, 5:8. WE GIVE BIBLE! TEXTS IN PROOF OF STATEMENTS MADE. . 1. The Scriptures do not teacli that Christ MAY ' COME AT ANY MOM-, ENT,: TO TAKE THE TRUE CHURCH AWAY TO lIEAVEN. THOUGH HE MAY COME AT ANY MOMENT AFTER THE PLAGUES ARE POUR-' ED OUT. Rev. 16:15. Tlio Scriptures do affirm that tlio day in ,which fie comes, may commence oily time.., l "That DAY may come upon you unawares, For as a snare SHALL IT' COME on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth." Luke'2l:34, 85., EAItTH DWELLERS ARE NOT. .PILGRIMS. "But yo, aro not in darkness, that that DAY should overtake vou as a thief." 1 Thess. 5:4. ,"BUl' tIio.,DAY of tlio Lord will come as a ,thief." 2 Peter, 3:10. 2. THE FIRST PART OF THAT DAY will be ONE Year. "For it is the DAY of the Lord'i vengeance, and the YEAR of Recompences for the Controversy of Zion." Isa. 34:8. See Also Isa. 61:2, 63:4. , 3. During THAT DAY, the Seven Last Plagues will be poured out.. Rev. 18:3. "Therefore shall her plagues come IN ONE DAY death, and mourning, and famine? A DAY for a Year." A FAMINE IN 12 MONTHS IS POSSIBLE, BUT NOT IN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS. Read Ps. 91:1-14. ' 4. THE SECOND PART OF THAT DAY OF THE LORD AVILL . BE A THOUSAND YEARS; THE DAY OF JUDGMENT. "I saw tlrrones (Thrones are set in Heaven. Dan. 7:9-14, Rev. 4:2, Luke 22:30), and they that sat upon them: . '. . and they lived and reign-

* Ed with Christ a thousand years." The text does not say a 1000 years, ON EARTH, as some will read it. Rev. „ 20:4, 11-15. The Psalmist describes the Judgment- as being in Heaven, ol in GLORY. "Let the saints be joyful in glory: ... to execute upon them the judgment written." Ps. 149:6-9. "Do !' ye not know that the saints shall judge - the world ?" 1 Cor. 6 :2-4. Let Rev. 3 22:5, Explain Rev. 5:10, and all is in 1 harmony "for ever." 5. THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL CONTINUE' TO FULFIL. Isa. 65:17. "For, Bohold, I create new heavens and 1 a new Earth." Read to verse 25. But correct verse 20 as follows, which makes ■ Scriptural harmony. "There shall bo no moro carried out from thence to • burial an infant of days, or an'old man who hath not filled his time; for the man of a hundred years Bh'all bo a youth." Pagnin's version. 1842 to 1844. 6. 3EFORE THE MILLENNIUM: THE BLESSED AND HOLY ARE NUMBERED FOR- THE FIRST RESURRECTION. "They which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and of the Resurrection, that, out of tho dead ones." Luko 20:35. "Tho rest of the dead lived not (are not raised) until the thousand years, were finished." Rev. 20:5. 7. BEFORE THE MILLENNIUM. THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENT CONNECTED WITH THE COMING OF CHRIST TAKES PLACE; For it fixes the future destiny of everyone, both saint and sinner. "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which filthy, let him be filthy still: and lie that is righteous let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." Rev. 22:11, CONSEQUENTLY THEN, MAN'S DAY OF SALVATION HAS ENDED. AND THE LORD'S DAY BEGINS. 8. THE NEXT EVENT: "BEHOLD, I Come QUICKLY; AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME TO GIVE TO EVERY'MAN ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE." V. 12. 9. The COMING OF JESUS WILL NOT BE IN SECRET. "Lo, Ho Come* with the clouds; and Every Eyo 'shall see Him." Rov, 1:7. "Tlion shall all tho TRIBES of the EARTH mourn, and they SHALL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING in the clouds of heaven," , Matt. 24:30. "For as the lightning cometh out of tho east, r.nd shineth evou unto the west; so shall the cor.iine of the son of man be." Verso 27. THE LIGHTNING IS SEEN BY ALL. SO SHALL THE SON OF MAN BE SEEN. 10. NOT ONLY IS JESUS COMING "Tlio second time without sin unto Salvation," Hcb. 9:28. But the Father is also coming. "Our God Khali 'come, a firo shall devour before Him . . . Now consider this, lost I tear you in pieces." Ps. 50:1-3, and 22.- Jehovah t,h<) Almighty will como against the STRONG. See tho Margin, Isa. 40:10. "The glorious appearing of th<> Great GOD and our Saviour Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13 "PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD, O ISRAEL." If Israel needs to be,warned, HOW. MUCH
