CANCELLATION OF MR. HALL'S AP. POINTMENT. Sydney, April 22. Mr. Hall's appointment, which Cabinet has decided, to terminate, was made on the eve of tho elections, and was for five years. He has not yet reached London. The official statement regarding the cancellation says that in view of tho 'gravo financial business with which tluyStato 's confronted it ,is necessary to securo the very best available talent to do the financial and other work of the Government in England, and the cancellation is in accordance with the publicly-declar-ed policy of the Labour Party mado during the election campaign.—Press Assn. TMr. Hall's appointment to the London office was hotly denounced by the Labour Party, which e;iid that the businesswas hurried on in oase Mri Hnlman should suffer defeat, and thus hnvo no power to reward his friends.! ,
