Melbourne, April 21, In connection with Mr. Chamberlain's reference, to the Nauru Island agreement in his Budget speech, a strong feeling is expressed by some Federal members against the agreement. The suggestion is mode that either tho Pacific Phosphates Company should bo allowed to continue working tho deposits or, if the British Government wished to proceei with tho proposal for working the deposits, it should do so alone.— Press Assn.
