Dalgcty and Company, Limited, havo received tho following cablegram from their London office, under date April J9"l'allow: Thero will be no public sales of tallow this week. Wool: The sales opened with a fair attendance of buyers, and competition was reasonably animated. Thero is a fair selection. As compared with last sales' closing rates, good merino combing is from par to 5 per cent, lower, and other descrptionß of merino 10 per cent, lower. Free croEsbreds, lino quality ill' light condition, are unchanged, but similar burry wools showed a decline of 10 per cent. Medium and coarse crossbrcds were, generally, 5 per cent, to 10 per cent, lower." j j
