By Telerraph—Press A«<oolatlon. Napier, April 21. Tho second annual conference of the Pharmaceutical Society opened in Napier to-day. Tho delegates were welcomed by tho Mayor (Mr. 3. V. Brown, M.IM. Mr. S. J. Tingey (president) said that tho Salo of Poisons Act was narrow and obsolete. Tho public through it had ample opportunity to become addicted to drugs, and tho time hud for "l'o novating" it. The conference would consider tho question of prices in regard to responsibility.
