OIL STORE TROUBLE
.A-fr-MEN RESUME WORK. ■ The trouble which developed at tho oil stores on Tuesday has been eettlei temporarily, tho men resuming work yesterday on the understanding that they are to be paid 2s. 3d. an hour—an increase of 3d. Tho oil-importing firms are considering the position in the meantime, with a view to arriving at a final settlement. When tho dispute arose on Tuesday the waterside workers, in sympathy with the men in thp stores, refused to handle bm.ine; hut on being informed that the difficulty bad beeh overcome, they resumed work.
