FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA
PARER AND MACINTOSH'S CRASH REPAIRS NEARLY COMPLETE By Teleeraph-Prejs Associatlon-OopyricM (Rec. April IG, 8.25 p.m.) Londom April 15. Lieutenants Parer and Macintosh, cabling from Moulinein, state that they are now out of hospital, and repairs to the machine arc'nearing completion, but they must await a new propeller. A complete new under-carriage and fuselage are being built at the site of the crash. Their message state;;: "We had decided to land in the sea, when a rift in the clouds showed Monlmein close at hand. The'exhaust manifold had burst and our faces and clothes were burned. The impact of n forced landing ot a speed of eighty miles an hour knocked us unconscious. Had we not crashed we would have killed many of the crowd." —United Service.
