Lieutenants Parer and Macintosh, cabling from Moulinein, state that they are now out of hospital, and repairs to the machine arc'nearing completion, but they must await a new propeller. A complete new under-carriage and fuselage are being built at the site of the crash. Their message state;;: "We had decided to land in the sea, when a rift in the clouds showed Monlmein close at hand. The'exhaust manifold had burst and our faces and clothes were burned. The impact of n forced landing ot a speed of eighty miles an hour knocked us unconscious. Had we not crashed we would have killed many of the crowd." —United Service.
