• At tho Inst meeting of the local BoxWg Association' it was reported that there was a prospect of Retting Fritz Holland to come over from Australia to n-eet IJren, and as a result of negotiations the secretary of the association received a cablegram yesterday announcing that satisfactory conditions had been agreed to and that Holland would leave .immediately. If is intended to stage the contest at the Town Hall on Mav 10that, being the first available evening suitable, and in view of the visit of the Prince of Wales. Arrangements are in hand to engage the Town Hall on the .Saturday afternoon previous to entertain the officers and men of the Bonown with a series of contests- and trninine- exhibitions. The visitors f,rnm the shin will of course he guests of the association, whiln a small' cnare-e may be made for ordinary eiti/.ens. with a view to providing funds towards the movement to ensure representatives from the Dominion cnmpetinß at the Olympic Gnmes.
