A number or me - i are on the verge of starvation. The Anzac Buffet I'und is unable to do more thm give a small dole to many of the discharged men, who are averse to charity in view of the fact that they aro entitled to a gratuity. The Canadian authorities aie coping with u somewhat similar situation, providing men who are averting shipment with board and lodgiu'j and charging it against payments to which tho recipients are entitled.
