T'ja House of Representatives lias adopted the resolution making peace with Germany—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

Washington, April 9. During the. closing debate in the House of Representatives on the peace resolution Mr. Mason expressed the opinion that President Wilson ought to have been, impeached when he permitted American troops to bo sent to Russia. Mr. Longworth pointed out that President Wilson's purpose in inventing the League of Nations was that ho might become preside.it of the I-eague himself. President Wilson had bartered aw.y the American people's _ rights tluouirli his own personal ambition. The' division on the resolution declaring'peaco with Germany resulted in 213 votes for the resolution and 150 against it. The resolution will now go to tho Serale—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assu.
