RAILWAYMEN'S PAY
SOCIETIES TO MKCT MINISTER. • So soon as I lie V''report of Mr. Jusl'ce Stringer regarding the pay and conditions of employees in .the railway servico was made public, the head*.of the three societies of vailwaymen declared their dissatisfaction with the recommendations, and they announced their intention of interviewing the Minister of l'ailways (Mr. Massev) on the report., ruv. Massey about that' time went into ho*p;tol io have his operation' done, but lie. is now well again, and he has notified tlio societies that lie is prepared to meet them on Monday, Tuesday, ami Wednesday of next 'week. The first interview will !>c with the A.S.U.S.. on Monday.
