A return showing the quantities of hemp, low, ami stripper-slips grailoil at the iKii'h of the Dominion during the month of Sfarci li«* bren prepared by the Government Itnmp Grader, Jtr. W. 11. Ferris. • The total number of bales of hemp graded was 11,130, a.s omnpared with 13,357 for the corresponding period of last ve:ir, a deerea-c of 2227 bales. For the 12 months ended Jlnrch 31, 1020, tho number of bales grnded was !IO,S(iiJ, as compared with 130,773 for the previous 12 months, u decrease of '15,905 bales. Durinj! the month 2400 bales of tow were graded, as compared with 2831 for the corresponding period of last year, a decrease of 311 bales. For Uie' 12 months ended March 111, the number of hales graded was 10.(158, as compared with 21,553 for the previous 12 months, a. defiettso of 1805 hales: A total of 120 bales of slripper-slipn were graded, as compared with "Nil" for the same month last year. For the i 12 months ended March 31, the number of bales graded was 132, as compared with i 509 for the previous 12 montl.s, a decrease of -107 bales.
