It was resolved f that the itinerary of matches ]>e slightly ■ t amended, by cancelling the-Eawke's Bay . \ fixture, and play ing. a North Island com- \ iination in its stead. It was also re- \ solved that inquiries be made on the I West Coast, with a-view to arranging i a. South Island match, to be played at V Greymouth, if. acceptable to the local \ League.. It was recognised that these* S (irrangements would give added interest | to the matches in the Dominion, thus \ ensuring a larger number of the best B players taking part. . i N.Z. Team to Tour England in 1922, ' \ It was decided to recommend that a \ New Zealand representative team tour 5 England in 1922, and that inquiries bj p made regarding the possibilities of ar- < \ ranging euch a tour. » ' N.Z, Representative Team, 1920. I The selection of the Dominion team ™ to meet the Englishmen was a matter m which received marked attention, and it * was resolved that trial matches should he played in order to select Iho best talent. It was suggested that matches „ be played as follow-.—Canterbury v. West Coast, Wellington v. Hawke'sßay, and Combined Team v. Auckland. In connection with'the selection of the' Now Zealand team, it was resolved that three- . selectors be appointed, and that eachLeague he asked to noniinate one selector,' the appointments to lie- made from the ncminat'ons received. Interproyincial Challenge Cup Rules, Notice of motion was given by Mr! Stirling (Canterbury) to amend the rules by doing away with the necessity ofhaving all matehes\decid«l on the ground of the holders of the'-trophy. This means that in the event of the holders of the trophy 'being on tour, any match may he declared a Challenge Cup fixture, on application being made within a specified time. Referees' Association, The matter of organisation in connection with the New Zealand Eeferees' Association was discussed, and it was propped that a conference be held at'the end of the ensuing season. The secretary I was instructed to communicate with the various centres on the matter. ' . -
