Commenting on the Government offij oials' inefficiency in discharging meat fronv steamers, "Fairplay" gives details \ of twenty-four steamers with Govern-ment-owned frozen meat arriving to .' tho end of 1919 and detained in port an 2 average of thirty days in excess of the normal time, also twelve which arrived in. 1919 and still awaiting discharge. [Last month three detectives raided a house in Pimlicq, occupied by King, who was an Australian _ military police corporal, as it was believed the proceeds of recent big burglaries- were concealed there.
